How do I apply for a position with Blue KC?
To apply for a position with us, review our current job openings.  If you think your qualifications meet the requirements for a particular position, follow the online instructions to submit an application and resume.

How will I know when Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) has received my application and resume?
We’ll send you an automated e-mail response once you have submitted your application and resume for consideration.  The automated response is your confirmation that your information has been received and forwarded to a Human Resources representative for review.

The Blue KC hiring manager will personally contact you if your qualifications match the requirements for the position and inform you of the next steps in the application process.

How often should I apply for job openings I’m interested in?
Feel free to apply for as many positions as you are interested in, but you only need to apply for each opening once.  We keep electronic copies of all job applications for 12 months.

Is there someone I can follow up with to discuss my qualifications?
A Blue KC Human Resources representative or the Blue KC hiring manager will contact you directly if your qualifications meet the requirements for an open position.

Does Blue KC offer training?
Blue KC has a dedicated training team to provide new associates and current staff with the tools required to perform their jobs successfully.  We understand the importance of learning new skills and want to share that knowledge with our associates.  We recognize hard work and achievement and want our associates to feel challenged and encourage to grow in our workplace.
