What is the mission of PE4Life?
PE4life’s mission is to develop a country of active and healthy children and youth by increasing access to quality physical education solutions by engaging them in a fun and interactive way.
What does PE4life do?
PE4life is dedicated to instilling a lifestyle approach to physical activity in children. The program teaches physical education and promotes physical activity and fitness. Children are exposed to a variety of physical challenges, gym equipment and activities and methods to help create and maintain a routine of daily exercise in a child’s life.
How does Blue KC help support PE4life?
Blue KC is proud to be a community partner and sponsor of the PE4life program. We support its core principles and advocate the PE4life message. Our financial support for the program is used exclusively for schools within the Blue KC service area – another way Blue KC is giving back to our community!
What benefits do children who participate in the program receive?
Being involved in the PE4life program enriches the lives of participating children. Kids are educated about health and wellness and may see an improvement in their fitness levels, a decrease in disciplinary incidents and improvements in academic performance like better test scores.
