Death by suicide is often talked about in hushed tones, if at all. It happens every 11 minutes* in the United States, yet talking about suicide is uncomfortable and the topic stigmatized. Knowing what to say to someone in crisis can be confusing and wrought with fear of making things worse or violating their privacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We need to talk about suicide<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Talking about suicide is critical \u2013 to divert a person in crisis, to raise awareness, to normalize the conversation. Be there to help raise awareness and talk about suicide with your clients.
