To do so, health insurers and health plans are required to submit certain information to the federal government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue KC kicks off that process by requesting employer groups to submit the following for calendar years 2020 and 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Average monthly premium amount paid on behalf of members<\/li><li>Average monthly premium amount paid by employees<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Blue KC will submit the required reporting on behalf of employer groups for the services we provide.&nbsp; For groups that carve out certain services such as pharmacy, the federal government will allow for multiple report submissions from separate entities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, employer groups will receive an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekcblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/FINAL_CAA-Mandate-email_8.17.22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">email <\/a>from Blue KC about the mandate with a link to a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekcblog.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/CAA-Contribution-Reporting-Format.ms_.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Qualtrics survey<\/a> to submit their data.
