The new Spira Care Center opened in December 2020 to further accessibility to its unique and personalized care approach. It\u2019s located at 7341 West 133rd Street in the Deer Creek Woods business complex, accessible via 69 Highway, Metcalf Avenue and 135th Street. The Care Center offers more exam rooms, x-ray, routine labs, behavioral health, health coaching and diabetes education consult rooms, as well as a member education classroom. The Overland Park location joins other area Care Centers in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Crossroads<\/li><li>Lee\u2019s Summit<\/li><li>Liberty<\/li><li>Olathe<\/li><li>Shawnee<\/li><li>Tiffany Springs<\/li><li>Wyandotte<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Spira Care is taking extra steps for members during COVID-19.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We know your employees and their families are still feeling the effects of the pandemic. So, Spira Care is finding innovative ways to reach them and help by enhancing its physical and behavioral health offerings to meet members\u2019 changing needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>COVID-19 testing<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Spira Care recently updated information on COVID-19 testing protocols for members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spiracare.com\/covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> for Spira Care&#8217;s most recent COVID-19 recommendations and what members can expect at Spira Care Centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>New ways to access care for members<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>No matter which of the eight Spira Care Centers your employees choose, they\u2019ll find more ways to connect with care. Spira Care has expanded its telehealth services so members can meet with their primary care physicians, behavioral health consultants and other providers however they\u2019re most comfortable\u2014in person, over the phone or virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Behavioral health<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The effects of COVID-19 aren\u2019t just physical. Isolation and loneliness can make issues like substance use, depression and anxiety worse. Because physical and behavioral health go together, Spira Care Centers offer behavioral health consultations on-site. Spira Care will provide regular updates on COVID-19&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spiracare.com\/covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Call your Blue KC representative for more information on any of the information shared.
