Understandably, your expiring\nhealthcare and dental plan benefits might not be at the forefront of your mind.\nBut that\u2019s why we\u2019re here. We\u2019re going to make sure you use those benefits\nbefore they expire with some priceless end-of-year tips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR DEDUCTIBLES. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you met your annual deductible? Or are you close to it? Now would be an excellent time to schedule any medical treatment you\u2019ve been putting off because your deductible will reset on January 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">USE YOUR ANNUAL DENTAL MAXIMUMS. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you reach your annual maximum on your dental plan, you\u2019ll have to pay for any further dental treatments out of pocket. So, if you need fillings, root canals, or crowns and you have available funds in your plan, get them taken care of before the plan resets for the New Year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">USE ALL YOUR FSA MONEY. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On average, people forfeit about $120 each year in their\nflexible spending accounts. Don\u2019t be one of them. Now\u2019s the time to check the\nbalance in your FSA and then spend all your money before year\u2019s end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FSA spending ideas :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Eye exams<\/li><li>Glasses<\/li><li>Contacts&nbsp;<\/li><li>Contact lens disinfectant solution and saline <\/li><li>Annual physical (the exam may be covered, but bloodwork and additional tests may not be)<\/li><li>Mammogram<\/li><li>Co-payments for doctor visits <\/li><li>Dental work (non-cosmetic)<\/li><li>Orthodontic work<\/li><li>Prescription refills <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BE AWARE OF PLAN CHANGES. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Next year\u2019s benefits may not be the same as the ones you have now.\nBe sure to review your benefits packet and see if any of your benefits are\nchanging in 2020.
