And a bounty of this seasonal produce\ndoesn\u2019t just taste incredible, it\u2019s incredibly good for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shop the perimeter of your supermarket, and you\u2019ll\nfind plant-based foods that have earned superfood star status. Winter\nsuperfoods supply important nutrients such as fiber, phytonutrients,\nantioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019d like to boost your health and even help protect yourself against certain diseases, eat more winter superfoods. They pack a powerful punch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Let\u2019s shop for winter\nsuperfoods.&nbsp; <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sweet Potatoes<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Sweet potatoes are more nutritionally dense than white potatoes. Bake with it all winter long \u2013 it\u2019s simply\nwonderful in pies, breads, and cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ginger <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The potent winter root has been used for centuries to boost the immune system, improve digestion, and soothe upset stomachs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Citrus Fruits <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Oranges, grapefruits, and lemons are bursting with vitamin C, so they offer immune support for cold and flu season.
