\"Coaches<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Since 2017, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) has partnered with \u201cC\u201d You In The Major Leagues (CYITML) and the Kansas City Royals to recognize Blue KC Coaches with Character. The program is intended to spotlight high school coaches who, through their leadership on and off the field, are helping to grow amateur sports in the Kansas City area, and making our community a better place to live, work and play!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the Royals’ season, Blue KC Coaches with Character honorees will be selected and announced monthly from nominations submitted by fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honorees are interviewed on 610 Sports and receive a VIP gift package that includes four game tickets and a merchandise gift card from Blue KC and CYITML. Each honoree is also invited to meet Royals General Manager and CYITML Founder Dayton Moore at an event at Kauffman Stadium in September. Additionally, Blue KC will make a $2,500 donation to CYITML in honor of each selected coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the past five years of the program\u2019s existence, 24 coaches have been honored as Blue KC Coaches with Character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
