CMS 48-hour Scope of Appointment AEP exception
From December 4-7, CMS’s 48-hour rule exception for Scope of Appointment (SOA) forms is in effect. This means you can obtain a same-day SOA for sales appointments during this time. The exception applies to unscheduled, in-person meetings (walk-ins, kiosk) that the beneficiary initiates.
