Amplifon offers Blue Medicare Advantage members access to hundreds of hearing aid models featuring the latest technology from most major brands. An Amplifon hearing care professional can help members determine which option is right for them. On average, members can save 66% off MSRP.

Blue Medicare Advantage Essential (PPO)* and Secure (PPO)*  

Covered hearing exam services:

• Diagnostic and routine hearing exams – $0 copay* 
• Fitting and evaluation – $0 copay* 

Covered hearing aid services: 

• Two Tier 1 ($500) hearing aids (one per ear, per year) covered once every calendar year 
• Recharging station at no cost to members or two years of batteries  
• One-year unlimited follow up care  
• Sixty-day risk-free trial  
• Three-year warranty with loss and damage protection  

Payment option: Members can use their Blue Benefit Bucks Flex Benefit wallet to purchase hearing aids beyond the Tier 1 benefit.

Getting started with Amplifon 

Members can make an appointment with Amplifon by calling a Blue KC Customer Service Representative at (866) 508-7140 (TTY: 711). The representative will provide a detailed explanation of benefits and connect the member with Amplifon Hearing Health Care team to schedule an appointment. The Blue KC representative will remain on the call once connected with Amplifon.  

Members must go through Amplifon to receive hearing aid discounts and benefits.
