National Prescription Take Back Day
Do you have expired, unused, or unwanted prescriptions in your home? Disposing of unused medication in a responsible way can reduce the risk of unintentional poisoning and misuse. That’s what National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to do. Participate April 27, 2024, by finding a nearby location to drop off medications for proper disposal.

Participating locations will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
To prepare for Take Back Day:
- Locate medications in your household and ensure that they are securely stored
- Collect your medications and decide which are no longer needed and/or are expired
- Clearly label the medications that you want to get rid of
