The platform connects users with licensed oncology nurses, oncology-specialized therapists, and registered dietitians, along with educational tools to help members navigate their diagnosis, treatment, and recovery with confidence. Iris complements the member\u2019s physician-led care and is available at no additional cost to eligible members.**<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iris key features:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>24\/7 access to oncology nurses for questions about treatment, symptoms, and side effects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Virtual mental health visits with licensed oncology therapists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Network of peer mentors sharing real-life experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health tracker to monitor emotional and physical well-being<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cancer-specific lifestyle and nutrition resources from registered dietitians<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When Blue KC and OncoHealth receive a prior authorization or claim related to cancer, Iris will contact the member and introduce them to Iris. Employers who become aware of an employee or covered dependent\u2019s cancer diagnosis can also share our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/blueprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/Client-IntroLetter-Insert-BlueKC.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cancer support on your terms flyer<\/a> to help them learn more and enroll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative is part of Blue KC\u2019s broader collaboration with OncoHealth, combining advanced oncology utilization management with personalized member support.
