This is referred to as secondary coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you share information with us about your secondary coverage, you\u2019ll have a lower likelihood of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Incorrect bills from your provider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delays in claim processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Importantly, sharing your secondary coverage information with Blue KC helps you <strong>capture cost benefits<\/strong> from your health plan coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How do I tell Blue KC about my secondary coverage?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Log in to your member account at <a href=\"https:\/\/member.bluekc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MyBlueKC.com<\/a>, then:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click your name at the top right of the page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>View Profile<\/strong> at the top of the list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to <strong>Have other insurance coverage?<\/strong> and click <strong>Update Other Coverage Information<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need help, please contact our Customer Service team at the phone number on
