An active phishing scam is targeting licensed insurance producers and other users of the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) licensing platform. This alert is based on an April 9 M<\/a>i<\/a>ssouri Department of Commerce and Insurance bulletin<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s happening<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Fraudulent emails appear to be invoices or payment notices related to licensing activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The emails include an attachment designed to look legitimate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
