review of the prescription drug lists (PDL) and other pharmacy programs for drug safety, effectiveness, clinical outcomes, and cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following groups will see PDL updates, effective July 1, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Large employer groups (100+)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select PDL&nbsp;routine updates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Premium PDL&nbsp;routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-ACA small employer groups (2-99, including level-funded ASO)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Premium PDL&nbsp;routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ACA small employer groups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Essential Health Benefits PDL&nbsp;routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Group and member communications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Impacted employer groups\u00a0<\/strong>will be sent either a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/blueprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/05\/FINAL_PDL-Updates_7.1.26_L2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>letter or email<\/strong><\/a> the week of May 18.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Impacted members<\/strong>&nbsp;will receive a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/blueprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/11\/PDL_SampleMemberLetter.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>letter<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;appropriate to their prescription change by June 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions, please contact your Blue KC
