It\u2019s a snappy slogan to be sure, but it\u2019s also the hard-earned truth. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jdpower.com\/business\/healthcare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">J.D. Power<\/a> \u2013 the most trusted source for recognizing top-performing brands across various consumer-driven industries \u2013 has once again ranked Blue KC #1 in Member Satisfaction among Commercial Health Plans in the Heartland Region. In 2023 we were ranked first across all six study factors, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coverage and Benefits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer Service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information and Communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provider Choice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Billing and Payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These results were based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jdpower.com\/business\/press-releases\/2023-us-commercial-member-health-plan-study\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan Study\u2122<\/a>, which is now in its 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0year. The study measured satisfaction among 32,656 members of 147 commercial health plans across 22 regions throughout the United States. And while industry averages have declined for many providers since 2022, Blue KC\u2019s score increased by 17 points year over year, highlighting our continued focus on prioritizing members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So how do we do it? It\u2019s simple: we listen. Through consistent round table discussions, surveys, and a \u201cBlue KC Listens\u201d panel, made up of 400 individuals who give real-time feedback on various initiatives, Blue KC always engages members like you before and after the launch of key changes, experiences, and applications to ensure your goals and wants are always being met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/press-release\/blue-kc-wins-two-awards-for-excellence-in-customer-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">world-class customer experience representatives<\/a> are often the initial point of contact for members. These individuals aim to solve issues the first time they\u2019re contacted.
