drug list updates effective July 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) Medical and Pharmacy Management Committee has completed its quarterly review of the Prescription Drug Lists (PDL) and other pharmacy programs for drug safety, effectiveness, clinical outcomes, and cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following groups \u2013 ACA small employer groups, non-ACA small employer groups, and large employer groups \u2013 will see the following PDL updates, effective July 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ACA small employer groups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Essential Health Benefits (EHB) PDL routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-ACA small employer groups (2-99, including level-funded ASO)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Premium PDL routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Large employer groups (100+)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select PDL (previously Preferred PDL) routine updates <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Premium PDL routine updates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Communications to groups<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Impacted large employer groups will receive an email next week, and impacted small employer groups will receive a letter that will mail this week.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/blueprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/05\/Premium_Select_Essential_051524.pdf\">Read<\/a><\/strong> the email and letter content.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impacted members will receive a&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluekc.com\/blueprint\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2024\/05\/PDL_SampleMemberLetters.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">letter<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>appropriate to their prescription change by June 1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions, please contact your Blue KC
