It\u2019s 2024 and fair to say that lives are still disrupted due to Covid. One place we see it clearly is in healthcare. People are behind on well-child visits, vaccines, and recommended screenings. As a country we\u2019re playing a long game of catch up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During National Immunization Awareness month in August, Blue KC picks sides with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in educating members about the importance of vaccines. Vaccines are one of the best ways people can protect themselves against serious diseases and reduce medical costs associated with diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
