Your Blue KC Member ID card is your key to unlocking all the coverage and benefits offered by your Blue KC health plan.\u202f\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recommend that you keep your ID card in a safe, accessible place like your wallet, or download the Blue KC app<\/a> to access your digital member ID card and take it everywhere you go.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s a closer look at the key information you\u2019ll find on your card.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Member ID Number<\/strong> \u2013 Number used to identify you and your policy. It contains a three-letter alpha prefix, followed by your ID number. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Suffix<\/strong> \u2013 This number is unique for each member covered on your policy.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Group Number<\/strong> \u2013 Number used to classify our ACA Individual & Family Plans. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Plan Type<\/strong> \u2013 Identifies your plan type.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Network Name<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This is the network of hospitals, doctors, and other healthcare professionals that accept your Blue KC policy. It\u2019s important that you see providers in this network to maximize the benefits of your policy. If you have a plan with access to Spira Care, the Spira Care logo will appear here as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. In Network Deductible & Out of Pocket Max<\/strong> \u2013 This space will include your plan\u2019s applicable In Network Deductible and maximum Out of Pocket amounts. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. QR Code <\/strong>\u2013 Scan the QR code to view your benefits summary. If your benefits are not yet effective or you have issues with the QR code, call Customer Service at the number on your ID card.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    What to do if you lose your card?   <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Don\u2019t worry, you can access your digital ID card<\/a> on your MyBlueKC app or visit your member portal at MyBlueKC.com to order a replacement or print a temporary ID card.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t\t
