The new athenaPatient app helps patients connect with Spira Care from their smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients can use the app to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in via facial recognition and touch ID<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access health information like lab or test results from a Spira Care appointment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Send and receive secure messages from the Care Team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>View upcoming appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Join virtual appointments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Members enrolled in plans with Spira Care can get started with the app in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/spiracare.com\/patient-resources\/new-mobile-app-makes-connecting-with-spira-care-even-easier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>three simple steps<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spira Care \u2013 A deeper dive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spira Care is an innovative advanced primary care model that transforms the healthcare landscape and offers patients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Primary care services for newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduced financial barriers to primary care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Same- and next-day appointments for sick care needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Appointment availability for new and established patients, often within seven days<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Early morning and evening appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturday appointments at four locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-person and virtual appointments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to an on-call service outside business hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-site lab services at every Spira Care Center<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-site X-ray services at seven of the nine Spira Care Centers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Spira Care patients have access to a multidisciplinary Care Team with an integrated approach to address medical, behavioral, and other barriers to achieving their health goals.
