ACA Individual and Family Plans:

An Individual and Family Plan is a health insurance policy that you purchase and pay premiums directly to Blue KC. The contract varies based on your state of residence and plan type:

ACA Group with 2-50 employees:

A Group Plan is a plan that is offered to you by your employer. The employer typically contributes to the health insurance premium and collects your portion of the premium via payroll deduction. The employer pays Blue KC the total monthly premium for everyone in the group. The group contract varies based on the primary location (state) of the employer, the number of employees, and plan type.

ACA Groups with 2 – 50 employees

2 — 50 Small Group Transitional Relief and Groups with 51 — 99 employees

Groups with 100+ employees

For large group the certificate is customized per group. Please see your Human Resources representative for a copy of the certificate of coverage for the plan you are considering.
