At the beginning of the year, Blue KC shared that small employer groups with a renewal date after January 1, 2022, would switch prescription drug lists (PDL) at their times of renewal. See which PDLs your groups will switch to:
ACA small employer groups will switch to the Essential Health Benefit PDL
- Kansas Essential Health Benefits Prescription Drug List
- Missouri Essential Health Benefits Prescription Drug List
Non-ACA small employer groups (2-99), including Level Funded ASO, will switch to the Premium PDL
Pharmacy networks have not changed, which means your ACA employer groups will continue with Rx Premier and Rx Select/Walgreens. Non-ACA small employer groups will still use Rx Premier.
Impacted members will receive a letter approximately one month before the PDL change.
