At one time, a doctor’s order for a test, scan, or procedure meant having it done at the facility scribbled on a script pad.
Today there’s SmartShopper, which gives you control to shop for a lower cost location for more than 90 medical procedures – such as an MRI, colonoscopy, mammogram, surgery, or ultrasound – and share in the savings in the form of a cash reward. Eligible* Blue KC members have earned an average reward of $365 per procedure.
