Blue KC expands innovative Spira Care offering in Kansas City Metro.
Blue KC announced that members of plans with access to Spira Care Centers will now have a new location to visit in Overland Park, Kansas. The new Spira Care Center opened in December 2020 to further accessibility to its unique and personalized care approach. It’s located at 7341 West 133rd Street in the Deer Creek Woods business complex, accessible via 69 Highway, Metcalf Avenue and 135th Street. The Care Center offers more exam rooms, x-ray, routine labs, behavioral health, health coaching and diabetes education consult rooms, as well as a member education classroom. The Overland Park location joins other area Care Centers in:
- Crossroads
- Lee’s Summit
- Liberty
- Olathe
- Shawnee
- Tiffany Springs
- Wyandotte

New ways to access care for members
No matter which of the eight Spira Care Centers your employees choose, they’ll find more ways to connect with care. Spira Care has expanded its telehealth services so members can meet with their primary care physicians, behavioral health consultants and other providers however they’re most comfortable—in person, over the phone or virtually.
Behavioral health
The effects of COVID-19 aren’t just physical. Isolation and loneliness can make issues like substance use, depression and anxiety worse. Because physical and behavioral health go together, Spira Care Centers offer behavioral health consultations on-site. Spira Care will provide regular updates on COVID-19 here.
