Many of your employees enjoy the convenience of Blue KC Virtual Care through the mobile app as well as BlueKCVirtualCare.com. Virtual care provides your employees with a fast, easy way to see a doctor for 24/7 sick care or a behavioral health visit by appointment—right from their mobile device, tablet, or laptop.
It’s about to become even easier for members to access care anytime, anywhere.
On January 18, Blue KC Virtual Care will move to the MyBlueKC mobile app and will continue to be available through desktop or phone browsers at BlueKCVirtualCare.com.
With this change, the added virtual care experience within the MyBlueKC app will be right alongside where members access their benefit information, view claims, download their digital ID card, etc.
As we approach the date to turn off access to the current Blue KC Virtual Care app, we will include an alert inside the app that these changes are coming. Once the MyBlueKC app is updated to include virtual care, we will have a redirect message on the Blue KC Virtual Care app for a period of time for those who have already downloaded the app. Additionally, we will email members who have utilized the service to let them know of this change.
