This spring, Blue KC has been raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s disease as part of The Longest Day® campaign.
The longest day of the year is June 21 – the summer solstice/the day with the most light – and the day the Alzheimer’s Association calls on everyone to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s disease.
We’ll cap our Longest Day fundraising on Friday, July 1, with Park with a Purpose at First Fridays in the Crossroads.
For a voluntary donation benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association, you may park at Blue KC’s secured parking facility (off Grand and 22nd Streets) and catch the KC Streetcar at Union Station to First Friday.
When your evening comes to an end, ride the streetcar back to Blue KC. All proceeds will fuel the care, support, and research of the Alzheimer’s Association.
