Costs for the same medical test or procedure can vary dramatically between in-network providers. SmartShopper compares providers so you can choose the best one for you or your family member – at the best price – without compromising quality. And you can earn a cash reward for doing so.
It’s quick and easy to compare providers from your member account. Here’s how:
- Log in at MyBlueKC.com and select Find Care in the left column
- Choose Find Doctors, Specialists & Hospitals
- Click the Find Care button in the pop-up
- Select SmartShopper Rewards for a list of eligible procedures and cash reward amounts
- To register for the cash reward, click the green “Earn $XXX” box for the provider you select
- Four to six weeks after your procedure you’ll receive a reward check in the mail
