Blue KC adds nutritional counseling benefit for large groups
Starting January 1, 2024, nutritional counseling will be available to Blue KC large group health plans. The member’s regular cost share applies – typically deductible and coinsurance – and for fully-insured group members there is no limit to the number of nutritional counseling visits in a year. This benefit is available to members with any medical diagnosis.
Nutritional counseling is personalized, one-on-one dietary guidance and advice that can help people understand how diet affects their overall health.
