BlueSelect Plus Network Expansion Brings More Value to Small Businesses in 2026

We’re excited to share that the BlueSelect Plus network, already known for delivering value, is expanding its eligibility footprint for small groups (2–99 employees) in 2026. This means more groups can now offer this cost-effective network to their employees, helping them access trusted care while potentially lowering healthcare costs.

What’s new?

Previously limited to a smaller set of counties, the BlueSelect Plus network will now be available to small businesses headquartered in a broader range of counties across Missouri and Kansas. This expansion opens the door for more employers to take advantage of the network’s benefits.

Eligibility requirements

To offer a BlueSelect Plus plan, companies must be headquartered in one of the following counties:

  • Missouri: Clay, Jackson, Platte, Cass, Clinton, DeKalb, Johnson, Lafayette, Ray, Caldwell
  • Kansas: Johnson, Wyandotte

AND

Their employees must seek care from any of the 5,400+ providers and 16 hospitals located in these counties:

  • Missouri: Clinton, Clay, Jackson, Johnson, Platte
  • Kansas: Johnson, Wyandotte
