KC Current Pride Night
Blue KC was the presenting sponsor of the June 4 KC Current Pride Night at Children’s Mercy Park. Ceremonial first kick honors went to Jenny Housley, Blue KC Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Blue KC Pride ERG Co-Chair Christopher Draven and Pride ERG member Julie Baker.
KC PrideFest
As a presenting sponsor of KC PrideFest, Blue KC employees marched in the June 10 PrideFest Parade and had a booth at the June 9-11 KC PrideFest.
Business Pride Awards
Blue KC sponsored the Business Pride Awards June 30, which was hosted by the LGBT Mid-America Chamber of Commerce. The awards honor community and business leaders working to create a more inclusive business environment.
Juneteenth KC
Blue KC recognized Juneteenth as a sponsor of the Juneteenth Heritage Festival in the 18th and Vine Historic Jazz District. Blue KC community health workers, customer service advocates, recruiters, and B.L.A.C.C. employee resource group members visited with attendees about preventive screenings and career opportunities.
