Flu shot time is here
The flu shot can take the flu from wild to mild. That’s the word from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), who recommends getting vaccinated in September or October.
The CDC encourages everyone six months and older to get the seasonal flu vaccine. Blue KC agrees. We especially encourage the vaccine for older adults and people with heart and lung disease.
Your clients can get the flu shot for $0
Blue KC members have several options for where to get a $0 flu shot:
- Blue KC in-network providers
- Spira Care Centers – Walk in with no appointment for members enrolled in plans with exclusive access to Spira Care Centers.
- In-network retail health clinics
