SmartShopper cash incentive program to sunset at end of 2026 for fully insured and cost plus large groups
The SmartShopper cash incentive program, which rewards Blue KC members for shopping and choosing cost-effective sites of care, will sunset December 31, 2026, for fully insured and cost plus large groups.
SmartShopper is one of several member programs and tools provided by Zelis. There is no impact to Zelis Find Care online provider search and cost estimator tools.

- Members can continue to earn SmartShopper cash incentives through December 31, 2026.
- Members can access Find Care provider search, procedure cost estimator, and SmartShopper through their Member Account at MyBlueKC.com.
- Members will see no impact to Zelis Find Care and cost estimator tools.
- Local ASO clients, which contract directly with Zelis, are not impacted at this time. They can continue to use SmartShopper through 2027.
