Newest small group product enhancement focuses on the smallest of groups
In September, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) built on its series of small group enhancements with the release of level funded ASO products for the smallest of groups.
Now, employers with as few as two enrolled employees can offer level funded ASO plans, which give small businesses predictable monthly costs, potential savings, and access to quarterly reporting. Level funded ASO plans are a strong alternative to traditional ACA plans. (Applications are still required for groups with 2–4 employees.)
