Reminder: Prescription drug list updates take effect July 1
In May we communicated with you and impacted employees that updates to the Blue KC Prescription Drug Lists (PDL) would take effect July 1, 2026. The following PDLs are included in the update:
- Premium Drug List
- Select Drug List
- Missouri Essential Health Benefits Drug List
- Kansas Essential Health Benefits Drug List
Employees whose prescriptions are impacted by the update received an email or letter. By July 1, they can find their updated PDL at BlueKC.com and on their member account at:
- MyBlueKC.com
- Click Plan Benefits in the left column
- Click Pharmacy
- Scroll down to Prescription Drug List and click View Drug List
To help employees have clarity and confidence in their pharmacy benefits, we encourage them to visit their member accounts and review prescription drug lists, accumulators, drug pricing, and other information.
