As the hometown health insurance plan, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) tailors health plans to meet market and consumer needs by offering:

Medicare Supplement delivers
At our recent Broker Rollout meetings, we introduced the following Medicare Supplement products for 2025:
- High Deductible Plan G with an affordable price point and including all the coverage from Plan G once the upfront deductible amount is satisfied.
- Plans K and L with a maximum out-of-pocket limit similar to that of Medicare Advantage plans; may be of potential interest to a current Medicare Advantage beneficiary.
Medicare Supplement 2024/2025 commissions*
- Year 1: 20%
- Years 2 – 6: 10%
- Years 7 – 10: 5%
- Years 11 or more: 2%

Blue365 discounts for Medicare Supplement members
Blue KC provides additional support to Medicare Supplement members through Blue365 discounts. Once registered, members can get discounts on hearing, vision, dental products and services, wellness activities, travel, and apparel.
