Small employer group reminder: MLR survey deadline is June 30
In early June, small employer groups received the annual MLR employer size survey. This survey meets an ACA requirement to classify groups as large or small.
Surveys were emailed to groups the week of June 2 and responses are due June 30.
Please encourage your clients to complete the survey by the deadline.
MLR timeline
- Week of June 2, 2025: Blue KC emailed groups, including a link to an MLR 2025 FAQ and the MLR Employer Size form.
- The email came from Blue KC with the subject line “Blue KC MLR Employer Size Form – Potential Rebate”
- Emails were sent to existing contact information on file.
- Groups that do not have an email address on file with Blue KC and those whose emails were returned unsuccessful received a letter, the MLR 2025 FAQ, and the MLR Employer Size form.
- Weekly reminders: Each week, Blue KC is emailing reminders to groups that have not submitted responses.
- June 30, 2025: Responses are due.
