- Text Messaging Platform
Both are easy, convenient, and you can update your preferences at anytime!
1. Your Communication Preference Center
Select email or text as your preferred notification option for your Explanation of Benefits or your monthly Blue KC Invoice. Login to your member portal either online or via the MyBlueKC app and visit the communication preference section. To do this, simply click on your profile (your name) in the top right corner of your member dashboard.
From here, you can select your preferred communication method and update your contact information.
User Tips: At the time you change your preference, you may have communication from Blue KC that is in progress and may not be delivered according to your new preference. Communication preferences you select for yourself will automatically be applied to dependents on your policy that are under the age of 18.
2. Get important messages, live a healthier life – with text messaging
Texting has never been healthier. With our innovative messaging platform, you can manage your health at the speed of life – and get even more out of your Blue KC coverage. Simply opt in, and we’ll deliver messages related to your health plan right to your mobile device.
When you connect with our secure, HIPAA-compliant mobile portal, you’ll be able to receive all kinds of important health information – including health and wellness tips, suggestions on where to go for care, cost saving tips, member-only offers, and important policy information and updates.
