- Provide your email address and password.
- If you haven’t received your member ID card yet, select the option to create your account without a member ID.
2. Opt-in to text messaging from Blue KC.
Text messaging is a fast, simple and secure way to manage your health and get more out of your Blue KC coverage. Simply opt in, and Blue KC will deliver messages related to your health and coverage right to your mobile device, such as:
- Health and wellness tips
- Suggestions on where to go for care
- Cost-saving tips
- Member-only offers
- Policy information and updates

3. Download the MyBlueKC mobile app.

From claims to out-of-pocket costs to finding care, you’ll have the information you need to manage your plan and get the most from your Blue KC coverage. All you need is a smartphone and the MyBlueKC app.
With the MyBlueKC app, you can:
- Download your digital ID card
- Access benefit information about your plan
- View details about your claims
- Review spending for the current plan year
- Understand costs with a Cost Estimator
- Find doctors and specialists in your network
