Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) is proud to partner with you again this season. Below is important 2026 plan information and resources to support your business and clients.
Spira Care
Members who enroll in a Blue KC plan with access to Spira Care will have exclusive access to nine Spira Care Centers for primary care services at no additional cost1. Spira Care includes:
- Preventive care
- Routine screenings and vaccinations
- Sick care
- Digital X-rays and routine lab draws2
- Behavioral health support
- Diabetes care management

Blue KC networks
- NEW: Blue Metro (EPO) network will be offered in the following counties: Johnson (KS), Wyandotte (KS), and Jackson (MO).
- BlueSelect (EPO) network options are available in eight metro counties.
- Preferred-Care Blue (EPO) network options are available in 24 rural counties.
Extra benefits
Our goal is to deliver high-value health plans to our members. Some of the benefits Blue KC members have access to include:
- ACA Rewards Program. Eligible members qualify to earn a $25 digital gift card for completion of the annual preventive visit and an additional $25 digital gift card for completing their Health Risk Assessment through our rewards program.
- Blue365. Members can take advantage of exclusive deals and discounts on health and lifestyle products and services through Blue365. Discounts include gym memberships, active gear, dental and vision services, and other savings opportunities.
- Virtual Care. Members can get the healthcare they need from the safety and comfort of home. Services include 24/7 Virtual Care visits and scheduled behavioral health therapy.

Blue KC offers standalone dental plans for as low as $18.13/month that include:

1Blue KC members enrolled in plans (without a Health Savings Account) with exclusive access to Spira Care will have no additional cost for any appointment or service provided at a Spira Care Center. Blue KC members enrolled in plans with a Health Savings Account or HSA Eligible with exclusive access to Spira Care will incur a predictable, flat fee for non-preventive medical appointments until the plan deductible is met. Preventive services are covered at 100% before and after meeting the deductible. Once the deductible has been met, appointments and services at Spira Care will be at no additional cost. For costs and further details of the coverage, including exclusions, any reductions or limitations and the terms under which the policy may be continued in force, see your insurance broker, or contact Blue KC.
2Routine labs and X-rays taken at a Spira Care Center are done based on a primary care need and ordered by a Spira Care provider only. Digital X-rays are available at all Spira Care locations except Lee’s Summit and Liberty. Spira Care Centers do not accept or facilitate orders from outside providers.
