KANSAS CITY, MO. (June 22, 2021)—Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) is proud to recognize Michael Roberson, Supervisor, Operations, as a 2021 Black Achiever in the Business Industry by the Black Achievers Society of Kansas City for his proven leadership, professional accomplishments and community involvement.
The Black Achievers Society of Kansas City fosters collaboration among local African American business leaders to address educational, social and economic needs of the community and provide leadership development and mentorship to area youth.
Black Achievers are recognized as local professionals who demonstrate leadership in the areas of diversity and inclusion. Honorees are nominated by their employer for their corporate leadership, professional accomplishments, community involvement, and educational achievements.

Roberson has also been recognized as 2020 Supervisor of the Year by the Service Quality Measures Group (SQM) for his outstanding customer service, mentorship and leadership capabilities, standing out from more than 3,000 nominees in North America.
Roberson was recognized at the Black Achievers Society of Kansas City’s annual award ceremony on June 17, 2021. As an award recipient, he will be inducted into the Society as a member, offering him further opportunity to make a difference within the Kansas City community.
