KANSAS CITY, MO. (March 25, 2021)—Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) is proud to recognize Dr. Raelene Knolla, Vice President of Population Health, Senior Medical Director, for her selection as one of Ingram’s Magazine’s ‘50 Kansans You Should Know’ Class of 2021.

This award recognizes accomplished Kansas residents who have made significant contributions to the state, their communities or their businesses while embodying what it means to be a Kansan.

Dr. Raelene Knolla’s passion for enhancing the care experience for patients throughout the Kansas City area stems from her previous roles in clinical practice. Her clinical background enables her to maximize the impact she can have on the health of the community. At Blue KC, she plays a multi-faceted role in medical policy, clinical operations, community health and quality of care.

Dr. Knolla is also committed to social responsibility and remains highly engaged with local Kansas City organizations focused on civic and economic advancement of the community, including Rise KC, Vibrant Health, Urban Rangers, American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Dr. Knolla is featured alongside the other 49 honorees in the March edition of Ingram’s Magazine. This is the 11th anniversary of the 50 Kansans You Should Know program by Ingram’s.
