Our Vision

At Blue KC, we're committed to creating a meaningful impact for our community by focusing on initiatives that improve the health and wellness of Kansas City residents.

  • Health Services and Community Wellness

  • Education and Community Enrichment

  • Arts, Culture and
    Civic Engagement

Blue KC launched Well Stocked in July of 2018 to address the social needs associated with hunger in Kansas City. Through targeted partnerships we aim to reduce food insecurity and increase access to healthier foods for children, families and seniors in our community.

Well Stocked Mission – To work with community partners and stakeholders in an effort to increase food access and reduce food insecurity in Kansas City.

Well Stocked Vision – Raise awareness and increase access to nutritious foods in our region.

Food is at the core of our health. What we put into our bodies and feed our families can determine how we function in our jobs, excel in our schoolwork or even interact with our family and friends. Without access to nutritious foods families in our region can’t thrive. Through the Well Stocked initiative Blue KC will partner with groups to provide funding, employee access and marquee events aimed at addressing the issues of food insecurity, raise awareness of the problem in our region and work to feed hungry people.
