President and Chief Executive Officer
In 2020, everything changed.
Our day-to-day lives, the ways we interact, and the institutions we depend on suddenly shifted. Our bedrooms became makeshift offices. Our schools were vacant while teachers and children used technology to connect. Our favorite restaurants converted to take-out. And our stadiums and theaters shut their doors.
But more importantly, we learned nothing matters more than keeping our loved ones safe. We realized staying well becomes a priority when the health of our families and friends is threatened. We changed our day-to-day lives to keep an invisible threat as far away as possible.
At Blue KC, we found solutions to problems we never imagined because even as everything changed, our focus never wavered.
And as we continued to move forward, powered by a determination deeply rooted in our ties to the Kansas City community and our commitment to keeping our promises, we found solace and strength in our mission: to provide affordable access to healthcare and improve the health of our members.
We proved that we are here for you. Today. Tomorrow. For Good.
